EVENT DEPARTURE POINTS
The departure points for Lakeland one-day events are 1) Dover Terminal, 2) Rockaway Mall Lot #36, and 3) Arlington Plaza Park & Ride in Parsippany. The Sparta Police Station is offered as a pick-up location on selected dates, generally for 18 people or more. Please note that these will vary with each event, depending on the destination. Multi-day events depart from the Hilton Garden Inn at the Rockaway Mall. Please call (973) 366-0600 x 6020 for further information.
INCLUSIONS
All included meals will be specified on the flyer in the day-by-day heading by the following abbreviations:
- CB – Continental Breakfast B – Breakfast, L – Lunch, D – Dinner. Tax and gratuity is included with all included meals.
- Hotel accommodations include room tax and baggage handling (unless otherwise stated).
NON-INCLUSIONS
Meals not specified as included will be on your own. Hotel incidentals such as room service and phone charges are not included in the event price. Lakeland driver and tour director gratuities are not included in the event price. Also, bar drinks and gratuity during meals, unless otherwise stated, are not included.
TOUR DIRECTOR ON EVERY MULTI-DAY EVENT
A Lakeland Tour Director will accompany each multi-day tour. Your director helps to assure a worry-free vacation by handling any problems that may arise, and will enhance your tour by keeping you informed about areas you’re traveling through, and entertained via games/puzzles, videos, nice background music, etc.
SIGNING UP FOR A LAKELAND TOUR
IT’S EASY TO JOIN A LAKELAND TOUR! Simply call our tour representative to book a tour or to ask for more information at (973) 366-0600 x 6020. They will take your name, address, phone number, number in your party, preferred pick-up location and any other necessary information (i.e. lunch choice, smoking/non-smoking room on a multi-day tour, etc.) We will also ask for a credit card number for a one-day tour payment, or a multi-day tour deposit. You can also send a check if you prefer, but please note that we can only hold your reservation for one week without a deposit (multi-day tour) or payment in full (one day tour). Avoid the disappointment of missing out on any event you’re interested in by signing up early!
PAYMENT INFORMATION
Multi-Day Events
A $50.00pp non-refundable deposit is due upon booking. Balance is due 60 days prior to trip departure.
One-Day Events
Payment in full is due upon booking.
- Lakeland reserves the right to cancel any event that does not meet the minimum number of passengers.
CANCELLATION INFORMATION
Payments are refundable up to 45 days prior to trip departure.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is available for one-day AND multi-day tours, and is highly recommended for your protection and peace of mind. For more information, schedule of coverages or to purchase insurance please contact a tour representative at (973) 366-0600 x 6020.
* Please note that in the event that a claim is filed, the injury, illness or situation must be substantiated to the claims department.
SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is not permitted onboard a Lakeland motorcoach. Rest stops will generally be made every 2 to 3 hours for your comfort and convenience.
TIPPING
Driver and tour director gratuities are not included in your event price. Tipping is left up to the individual passenger. If the driver and tour director provided good service, and you would like to give them a gratuity, the following may be used only as a guideline: $2.00-$3.00 per person, per day for the driver and $2.00-$3.00 per person, per day for the tour director.
SEATING
For one-day tours, seating on the motorcoach is on a first-come, first-served basis. For multi-day tours, seating is assigned when the tour is booked and a deposit paid.
RAINCHECKS FOR SPORTS & OTHER OUTDOOR EVENTS
Lakeland Tours provides transportation to the venue and your ticket to the event. Once such trip is concluded, Lakeland’s obligation has been fulfilled. If the game or event has been rained out, or postponed because of events beyond our control, no transportation will be provided to the scheduled event on a new date. Ticket holders should observe the “raincheck” information printed on the ticket.
